This market's index
Tracks pump.fun protocol revenue over the trailing 24 hours, scaled into $100k units.
How it updates
The index follows DefiLlama's latest rolling 24-hour pump.fun revenue aggregate. It moves up when the launchpad's recent revenue take rises and down when the trailing 24-hour total falls.
What it measures
DefiLlama `summary/fees/pump.fun` `total24h` with `dataType=dailyRevenue`, divided by 100,000 so one index point represents roughly $100k of protocol revenue over the trailing 24 hours.
Methodology
Each run calls DefiLlama's public summary fees endpoint with `dataType=dailyRevenue`, reads the configured source field, divides the USD aggregate by the configured value divisor, validates the scaled value is in the usable beacon range, and publishes it through the shared updater path.
Source
DefiLlama public API.
Know the limits
DefiLlama is an aggregated third-party source, not Perp City's direct on-chain indexer, and its methodology or protocol slug mapping can change.
Revenue is the launchpad protocol's take only; PumpSwap (the AMM) is a separate DefiLlama protocol and is not included.
Trailing 24-hour aggregates can revise as DefiLlama backfills or adjusts source data.
Price, index, and funding
The traded price and the index are different numbers: the index is the measured value, while the price is set by trading and moves freely around it. Funding is what ties them together — positions pay or earn a rate set by the gap between the mark price and a 1-hour average of the index (price above index: longs pay shorts; below: shorts pay longs), which pulls the price back toward the index.
